How do I get my business to come up on Google in my town?
Three things do most of the work: a Google Business Profile that's filled in properly with the right categories and services, those services written in the words people actually type, and a page for each town you cover. That's the job we do. Whether you call it SEO or not, there's no monthly retainer and no jargon in the handover.
What does it cost?
Depends what's already there, which is exactly why the check comes first and costs nothing. Once I've looked, you get one price for one job, agreed before anything starts. Nothing to pay before that.
How long does it take?
It's a job, not a subscription — so it has a start and a finish. Most run about a fortnight. If you want a website built with it, longer. I'll tell you the timeframe along with the price, once I've seen what needs doing.
Will you promise me first place?
No. Anyone who does is guessing. I'll tell you what's fixable, what isn't, and what I'd do first — then you can judge it yourself.
I don't have a website. Am I wasting your time?
Not at all. Plenty of trades get found without one — your profile and your area pages do most of the work. If a site would help, I'll say so, and if it wouldn't, I'll say that instead.
What happens when the job's finished?
It's handed over and it's yours — logins, pages, everything. No monthly obligation, nothing to cancel. Come back when you want something else done and it's a new job.
Who do you work with?
Irish trades and local service businesses — the kind of work where the customer is nearby and rings the first name they see. If you're not that, I'll tell you and we'll leave it.
Do I have to talk to a salesman?
You're talking to me, on WhatsApp, and the first thing you get is research rather than a pitch. If the answer is no, that's a fine answer.
